I have been one of millions of First customers who are "under the thumb" of this company. To be honest, I'm sick of it. I spend about £2000 a year in bus journeys, and out of that money I would estimate the true value of my annual tickets at £50. So I founded this forum, where the put-upon customers of First can vent their spleen, in public, and for the world, and more importanly First themselves, to see.
Journey Write-up Bus Number 60847, Route 626 from Shipley to Brighouse. Thursday 27th May 2010. (Apx. 15.20 scheduled from Shipley) Driver Desc: Asian Male, short black hair, 5'6".
Catalogue of Errors: - Arrived 14 minutes late at Shipley. - Driver stopped at Roadside frequently to get off bus and make lengthy mobile phone calls. - When he finished, he made up for lost time - by sailing through four consectutive Red Lights. - On arrival at Bradford, the bus was abandoned with engine running and doors locked closed.
